got my Powercolor 1gb 4870 today. physically installed it in the PC, installed drivers, uninstalled Nvidia drivers with driver sweeper. (a bit the wrong way round i know - but never had a problem doing it that way)
windows boots up fine, but if i try and start a game or 3dmark then it comes up with an error and a pop up in the taskbar says that driver failed and restarted. it mentioned something about atikmdag? dont know if thats relevant?
tried uninstalling catalyst 8.10 and installing 8.9. still same problems!
