Problem with a friends computer, need some help.

A mate is having some problems. Loading windows goes horribly slow (not sure how long) and hangs on the log on screen he says. He also mentions this is recent and all he has done is re-installed mohaa and expansion packs i think. He says it happened whilst playing moh splayer i think and it crashed and thats when the problems arrose.

Heres what he said on a diff forum.

im havin trouble since i re-installed mohaa. when i boot up, it takes about 5 minutes to get to desktop. it hangs just b 4 you get onto the log on screen and it totally black....any ideas?

it hangs just b4 the logon screen. it was working fine until i tried to go onto mohaa not sp or b/t online, it crashed and ****** up from there. i can get onto desktop, but it takes 4 eva, i have uninstalled it too, but its still the same and its ***** me off. so i think another reformat is called 4
