Ok, I don't know a lot about networking so I took a look at the sticky. Basically I have a linksys WAG54GS connected to BT at 1.5Mb/s. The router keeps disconnecting (as in dozens of times a day) I believe we are located quite far from our exchange but I can't see why BT would allow us to upgrade from 512k if this would affect the connection in such a way. Anyway I took a look at the sticky and found some info on my router/connection (which makes no sense to me
):
----------Down---------- Up
SNR(db) ---6.2 -----------10.0
Attn(db) ---63.0 ----------31.5
Pwr(dbm) --16.0 ----------11.9
max(kbps) --1408--------- 676
rate(kbps) -1248 -----------448
I don't know if you guys need anymore info but my question to you is why does my router keep losing the connection and is there a way to fix it?
