I bought a car part from the US, paid shipping, taxes etc but there was a part missing, which means it won't work.
It's been nearly 2 months since I made the purchase on my credit card, I notified them about a week after purchasing that the part was missing. They continuously keep telling me that they will send me the missing part. They say they have contacted the manufacturer with the images I've sent of the box and part number, as they use drop-shipping and do not stock the part.
I emailed them again last Wednesday, they haven't actually responded to an email in about 2 weeks, copying in their returns department asking for a refund.
I'm getting to the point where I'm wanting to just ship the item back and let my credit card company deal with it but I don't know enough about sales laws in the US to know what the best cause of action is
