Problem with an Online Game Retailer

I placed an order with an online game retailer last week. I was expecting a quick delivery but something is not right.

First, the status said 'Waiting Dispatch'. This it did for 2 days.

Then next it said 'Packed - Awaiting Collection' which it has done so for 5 days.

Getting a bit worried about this (like who the heck are they waiting for to collect it?) I contacted customers services, and the proprietor directly by email, but no one has replied.

There is an 0845 number but it goes to an answerphone and again my calls are not returned.

I've told them to totally cancel the order and that if the package turns up it will be refused as undeliverable.

I've asked for a refund but I get this feeling I won't get it for a while ... if at all.

Ha! I get a reply at 23:20 in the evening.

No apology or explanation at all. Just a confirmation that the order has been cancelled.

What is worrying is this:

"As we only debit your card when the goods are dispatched, no funds have been debited from your card."

That's not true. My card was debited on the 26th. They don't even know that?

There is a lesson here. Don't by from a 'low prices / free (usually next day) delivery' website just for those very reasons. Try and find out if the customer services is any good.
 
Are you allowed to say what retailer to warn others? (As the topic is about games I think you are allowed as O/c don't do games)
