Problem with antec 900 fans

Hi,

I'm having some trouble with my antec 900, I have 4 hdd in the computer, 2 striped, 2 mirrored, when i have the two front fans connected only the top one spins where as the bottom one doesnt but the led's are on. Also it prevents my 2nd hard disk of the stripe array from being detected so the computer can't boot. I thought It was a power problem since I only had a 550w powersupply but I have just upgraded it and am still getting the same problem.

Its really got me stumped as the computer works fine so long as you dont plug in the fans?

Anyone got any ideas?

make sure that your fans are properly connected and nothing is loose on there ends. It could be shorting out the PSU if it aint connecting.
You could try replacing the fans. Antec have a few problems with their stock fans and from now on whenever you buy a antec 900 case they come with three spares. How long ago was it that you bought your case?
Also are you sure you have a strong enough PSU to power your rig?

I've now upgraded to a 720w so that should be enough now. its just strange how it was the same problem with the new psu as the old one, and always the same fan, its probably the stock fan problem, I got the case about a 6 weeks ago, my just replace the fan then.

yerr chances are then it is your fans, lol 720W will be well enough power lol.
