Hi, I'm having a graphics problem, not sure if it's a hardware or software issue, the screen goes blank for a few secs then restores with a message the graphics driver failed and recovered, has also crashed the PC with BSOD on a couple of occasions. This happens randomly and not necessarily when under load.

All drivers are up to date. Just a thought - would having 3GB RAM cause problems? Would I get fewer conflicts with 2GB in dual channel? I had 4GB but had to take one stick out because XP was crashing on boot after being in Vista and that fixed it.

My Spec:
Abit IP35 Pro
Q6600/Tuniq Tower 120
3x1GB Crucial Ballistix PC2-8500C5
Asus ATI Radion HD 3850 Pro 256MB
Corsair HX620w
Vista 64 Ultimate/XP Pro SP2 dual boot

If anyone can offer ideas to diagnose this I would be grateful.:)

Thanks for your input - I was wondering if it could be the Ram. No, the GPU is at default settings.
