I have just got a laptop to repair which needs XP, office reinstalling and a Belkin PCMIA wireless card setup.
This is beginning to drive me nuts now considering I have been going at it for 4 hours.
The card and this laptop dont seem to mix at all.
The card is in, I installed XP and ran the driver install CD. All looks ok until the whole system locks up, and I have to reboot. When I reboot it gets stuck half way though loading XP, so I have to take the card out and reboot again. It then boots fine.
I have tried the latest drivers from the site, the drivers on the CD, and a driver via Windows Update.
Any suggestions? I think I'm just going to have to say to them that this network card just wont work with this laptop.
Thanks
Chris.
