problem with bfbc2 and vent

in vent i cant get my push to talk button to work with bfbc2.
it works when bf isnt open and i assume with other games (havent tested this tho as bf is the only game ive got installed atm)
anyone got any idea why this might be happening and if i can fix it?

You need to run Ventrilo as administrator.

Have you tried another key? It may be that the control is being used by BF:BC2 for something else so it's cancelling it out...

aaah i might try runnign it as administrator.
btw is there anyway to get win7 to just run everything as admin (i am the admin)
seems odd that i have to enable it all the time

Right click Ventrilo, properties, Compatibility then at the bottom check "Run this program as administrator".

Ventrilo will always launch as administrator from there on.
