problem with buying steam games

hey

Just thought i'd take the massive plunge and splash out and buy DOD:S after the free weekend. God i love that game :)

My problem is when i click the purchase button for DOD:S in steam it comes up with a white page saying "page annot be displayed". Exactly like ones you get in explorer when a page wont open.

I cant buy the game without sorting this out :(

any help appreciated :cool:

try using the steampowered forums or contacting steam.

If that cannot fix it purchase it from GAME :p
 
Reinstalling Steam over the top of itself fixes the problem you have described most of the time.
 
thanks daveyd ill give that a try.

BTW remember a while ago i had that problem with the HL2.exe error? The one where i couldnt play any source games?

Just install or re-install service pack 2 and it sorts it out :)


edit: just tried re-installing still doesnt work. Cant be arsed to fix it so ill just buy it retail.
