Problem with cleaning my monitor, please help.

Hi,

I have a Iliyama Prolite and it was getting a little dirty so yesterday I used a cloth specifically for monitors with a tiny amount of water on it and lightly rubbed it, but now it looks awful, there's big streaks everywhere the water touched, I really didn't expect a little water (And I mean little) to damage my screen. I've tried just rubbing it with a dry cloth used for cleaning glasses so it's soft but the marks don't budge.

Any tips or tricks to fix this?

I've ordered some LCD cleaner from Amazon, it has 26 5/5 reviews so fingers crossed it will get rid of these streaks.

I got my kit today and it worked great, a really solid buy. £3.60 for a cloth, fluid, case and monitor duster. It got rid of my streaks and most dirt on the first go over, I'll let it dry and finish the job later.
