Basically when I press the power button all fans spin up and I get the usual POST beep but no display, it just says "no signal". I'm am pretty sure all cables are connected and I reseated my graphics card last night, so I am stumped after searching the internet with no solution.

Specs;

AMD Phenom II X4 955
MSI 760GM-E51
4GB RAM
HD 6850
Corsair 430w

Thanks.

So obviously it's either the PSU or graphics card, but if I keep switching it on and off or wait a few hours it will sometimes come on, but when I hibernate or shut it down the same problem occurs. Also I have had this computer for nearly a year and it has played games like GTA4 and BF3 with no problems, only now they seem to have started.

Also do graphics cards have to taken out to use onboard because mine is still in and onboard graphics are working fine, apart from the terrible resolution.

.

I presume this has worked in the past and has stopped working?

Do you know anyone else with a rig that could take your gfx card. Try and substitute it in and see if it works on their rig. If it does you can conclude PSU if it doesn't GPU.

Well this was my first build so I don't have spare parts and it has worked for nearly a year until this happened.

But all fans spin on start up including the graphics card and the normal post beep.

And I searched it online and found out that that it could also be the motherboard along with either the graphics card or PSU as the problem.

I'm stuck for a solution and it is really annoying me now.
