My computer has been acting weird for a few months now and I'm struggling to figure what the issue is, basically I first thought it was my RAM as I took one stick out and the computer booted but when I put two sticks in it wouldn't, I after left the CMOS battery out for about 12 hours and put the two sticks of RAM back in and it booted so I thought maybe it was a setting in the BIOS. I still had issues regarding turning on the PC and turning it on after it was in sleep mode, it wouldn't turn on at all and I took the CMOS battery out for a few minutes after it wouldn't start to which it then booted. I still have issues turning on the computer after it has just been turned off and sleep mode is not an option for me as it won't turn on at all after I put it in sleep mode I thought this may be a PSU issue. I discovered later if I turn off the computer I have to wait about 10 minutes to turn it back on which seems like a PSU issue. I tried a different CMOS battery to see if it were an issue but the problems still happened. Today my computer would not turn on at all no matter what I did so I removed the PSU and tried the paper clip test and the PSU fan started no problem and when the PSU is turned off it will instantly come back on when I turn it on again, but when I tried to turn it on again when connected to the motherboard it can't be turned on for another 10 minutes to me I think the issue may be the motherboard as when the RAM wasn't working I'm sure it's nothing to do with the PSU, I'm still very confused to what it is though and that is why I need your help!
Thanks in advance, Justin.
