problem with cpu?or cpuz?

hi got this report from my cpuz even although the multiplyier in bios is set to 9x

cpuz reports it as 6x ?

running vista x64

lol I just had the same thing and got all confused. Don't worry, the minute your system starts working it'll go back up, it's a power saving feature. Leave CPU-Z open and run ati tool or something and you'll see.
 
you go into your bios to turn it off. its under cpu features

i agree with making it a sticky, i answered the question at least 3 times today
 
lol i to was just about to ask this Q after installing my Q6600 , but i did a quick search 1st and found this thread ,, yes this subject should be made sticky.

BTW does speedstep effect overclocking at all ? as in i am on air and hope to get 3.6gig am i best to disable it ?
