Problem with Crosshair IV

Just build my new computer today. When i switch it on for the first time it just holds a continous beep....Looked in the manual and cant find a solution for it.

Any ideas what it could be?

A ram issue maybe. It would be helpful if you could post your specs here for us to see.

Try with only one stick of ram.

right, i have taken my graphics card out now and all bleeping has stopped. Only thing is that there is no on board graphics.

Did you have both power cables plugged into the gpu?

dont worry, fixed the problem. The pin on the second power cable was out.....can delete thread now thanks

Are the little POST state lights just to the right side of the 24 pin power socket doing anything both with and without the GFX card in? A GFX problem should halt on the 3rd one up, Mem 2nd one, Cpu 1st one all going up?

Stupid question, is it actually booting? Are you sure it's not the side panel open warning?

And do you have an 8 PIN EPS12V +12v connected?
