Ok I took delivery of a Dell 2407WFP-HC last week. Ive got it setup via DVI along with my old 17" Samsung LCD which is hooked up using VGA. Powering these is a lowly Radeon 9800 Pro. Basically every so often i get a weird problem whereby i seem to get display corruption on the Dell screen as seen in the photos below. If i turn the monitor off and then back on again the corruption has gone and everythings back to normal. Im pretty sure its not the monitor itself thats the problem but either the graphics card or maybe even the DVI cable.

I dont know much about dual monitor setups and the stress it puts on the video card and so from looking at the photos, what would you be inclined to think is the root cause of the problem?

I 100% agree Greebo. I havent even fired up a game on this screen yet because it would be pretty much pointless with the graphics card i have now.

Once the flames coming from my wallet have died down i'll be upping the graphics, mobo, cpu, ram and PSU.
