Problem with desktop freezing

If i click on any icon on my desktop - everything else works fine like the taskbar but the desktop itself where the icons are will freeze for about 15secs? This only seems to happen once or after i log in...

Any ideas whats going on as i just did a fresh install
 
When i updated my MB i didnt notice that - didnt notice after updates - mainly noticed it when i was testing my current overclock - using hwardware monitor/IBM
 
seemed to have stopped now out of nowhere - mustve been cause i moved some programs from the desktop?
