Problem with DPD?

Before I start, I'm just going to point out this is NOTHING AT ALL TO DO WITH OcUK.
I was called away unexpectedly and couldn't be in for the deliveries. I had one from DPD and interlink express. They both left the calling cards and I have arranged to collect from the interlink depot. I was going to do the same with DPD but on their site it says "The parcels were delivered on 10/03/2011 at 17:11 & signed for by MARI"
I can't do it over the phone either. Due to the time I got home, I couldn't call them and speak to a real person!
My neighbour is called Mary, but she couldn't have signed for it because:
  • she was at work all day
  • she would have used her second name and her name isn't "MARI"
  • Look at the date it was "delivered"

Has anyone else got this problem? Any ideas on what else I could do?
My mate would be devastated if he doesn't get his comp soon as he has already ****ed up all his tech!

The only thing you can really do is contact the retailer when they are open again, they can then contact the driver to see exactly where he put it, then go from there. Thanks for the review, doesn't have to be long. :)

Couriers "recycle" consignment numbers. You may have been given an incorrect consignment number by the retailer, and so when you enter it into track and trace it gives you the details for when that number was last used (hence the odd looking date)

no problem. on the 3rd review ATM!

I'm going by the number from my "sorry we missed you card" any other way I could do it?

It's still possible the system is showing the "old" tracking details. I have seen this on the odd occasion in my old job.

Well, if they'd faked the delivery they would've used the correct date at least. I'd say it's likely to have been taken to the depot, no guarantees though!

I hope so!
DPD are pretty useless. I call them "parcelchuckers". If you had seen some of my other posts about them, you'd know why
