I have this shower. triton 10 kw. It is at least 5 years old. Not sure how long they last.

Few weeks ago I had a problem where the emergency switch in the roof with string was melting inside and started smoking. I had that replaced. I've always had some problems with the shower.

If i put it on 2 there is not enough pressure and not enough heat. If i put it on 3 pressure is fine but there was no cold coming out of it even if i put it on max coldness, it was still too hot in summer.

But now what has happened since the switch in the roof has been replaced is that when i put it on 3 (max power) it goes hot and cold and hot and cold and so on. It does not retain the same temperature.

Is there anyway to fix this or is it time to get a new shower? I am not very experienced with electric showers.

Make sure that the cable going from the switch to the shower is 10mm which is what you need for a 10kw shower.

I would replace the shower anyway as there's no point in fixing it tbh. I like mira showers personally would stay away from pretty much everything else lol
