problem with evga 680i

Hi
I just finished building my new rig last night built around the evga 680i,e6400 and a gainward 8800 gts.
All went well until i tried to fit a zalman 9500 and the back plate just won't fit

so i had to dig out the stock intel cooler.
Any ideas or could you recommend a different cooler

Get a scalpel, or file etc, and modify the backplate, so it fits over the resistors.

I will try that later the only other problem is a duff fan header near the cpu.

stuck my backplate on the milling machine, soon had it sorted

Thanks for all your help that guide is going to be really usefull.
Looks like i will be taking the back plate to work.
I got side tracked this afternoon playing fear with all settings on max
