One of our clients has moved to a new host/isp. Outgoing email now goes out through port 587 rather than 25. Also the new isp is saying that I need to authenticate it.
I've setup the new account on Outlook Express and it works fine but on exchange it reports the following error.
#5.5.0 smtp;550 This is a submission only port. You must authenticate before sending mail
I've checked the authentication and all seems to be how it should. On Outlook Express I have to tick the "My server requires authentication".. Where is this setting in Exchange 2000. I must have missed it somewhere!
