Problem with firewall?

Hey. Is there a problem with my firewall? I installed Zone alarm and straight away i had 20 attacks. I then uninstalled it and installed Sygate Personal FW and used it for about an hour with no attacks then i uninstalled it and installed Zone alarm again and straight away i get attacks.
Yes i'm sad for testing this out

but does this mean there's a problem with Sygate FW?

It's all down to how a firewall reports network activity to you. Zone Alarm is just telling you about a lot more network traffic than Sysgate.. You really need to read the reports and then research them properly to establish which are real intrusion attempts before treating them all as such. Once you fully understand how and why the reports are being shown to you, and are happy that you understand them, turn the damn report popups OFF !!!
