Well this is a bit disappointing...

[18:33:16] Trying to send all finished work units

[18:33:16] - Preparing to get new work unit...

Was setting my clients to -oneunit and it happened to three of the four. Lost 95%, 77% and 24% :(

Any ideas why this happened? I was using the ./folding restart command. Is it more stable if I do the ./folding stop then ./folding start?

Only used restart once - with same problem - think I reinstalled the VMware and Ubuntu to fix it (was early days with Linux for me - 19 reinstals in a month - had it down to a fine art :D

At a guess, restart doesn't give enough time for the client to shut down. Stop and start is the best approach (give it 30 seconds in between).

I go with that too. The stop command can take a good 45 seconds sometimes to fully shutdown a client.

Makes sense. I have seen it take a while, but I guess if one is stopping and the other is starting I can see why it is confused.

I'll be extra cautious next time :)
