you made sure everything is connected up properly? including the extra 4-pin 12V plug near the cpu socket? Check the connections and try again, maybe.

Have ya tried re-seating the CPU?

Reset the BIOS?

How do you know there is no power getting to the board? Are any of the fans coming on etc..?

No fans come on, no beeps or LED's lighting up from it, yeah i connected the 12v next to the cpu still nothing, how can i reset the bios without power? and not tried to reposition the cpu will give it a go

To reset the BIOS - Just take the little battery out for around 10 seconds and then plug it back in.

The little 12v plug that goes near the CPU - have you plugged it in correctly..? As there is 8 pins on the board - But mine came with a little black plate over the 4 that don't need to be used.

will have a go at resetting the BIOS then but there's only one port next to the cpu its only a 4 pin socket and can only fit one way, i assume then that this means the board is ATX not ATX Dual core? as on a leaflet i got it showed those options i assumed mine was the normal ATX as i dont have the sockets for an 8 pin adaptor
