Im not sure where this goes so mods move it if needs be.
The problem started today while i was listening to it on my sennheiser cx300's and suddenly the sound went really loud, to maximum volume, but the thing is that the volume was only half way- what i have it normally which is normally pretty quiet.
I fiddled with the volume for a while but it wasnt making much difference at all, at minimum volume it was as loud as maximum volume. I could also hear that cracking sound that you hear when you move the headphone jack but it was more of a pop.
I looked on the internet and it appears that this a common fault for the model of ipod i have. Apple have not released an update for this and probably wont.
I bought it from a well known department store around August/July of last year, so what are my options? Get a replacement? Swap it for a different model? Im within the 12 months warranty so are these possibilities?
