Problem with Live account

Theres a problem with my girlfriends live account on her 360, it lets her sign into her profile but not Live.

When testing the connection it fails on Live, shes using a month free gold subscription, which has just been used for two weeks. I have logged onto xbox.com and checked billing and the subscription is active, so what could be the problem?

There's no problems with the ISP, or router as im on my 360 ok and the laptop.

Any ideas?

Xbox Live is down for a lot of users.

Sounds like a network issue to me if the Xbox can't even find Live. Anything changed recently?

I just went to join kronos game, I was logged in. Put in the GOW disc and it logged me out. I'm sitting here turning stuff on and off trying to log back in but to no avail.

Something has happened to one of the servers and they have no idea when it will be fixed, though they estimate 10-12hours

I saw you guys play GoW and I thought, right, I've had an awful day at work, a horrible commute so now all I want to do it shotgun Krono in the face. But no! Woe is me! What do people do on Friday nights when Live is down?

Not all users are offline. It's to do with what server you connect to.

My Live went a little strange tonight for an hour or so... It would work perfectly in the marketplace and all the dashboard stuff but whenever I loaded a game it would disconnect me from Live until I quit the game and then it would sign me in. (kind of like when there is an update available for a game and it signs you out and asks you if you want to update, however there was no updates and no games would work :confused:

)
