Hi all
Have a problem with my new build, but not overly sure whether it is my mobo...
My System;
Intel I7 4770k @ 4.1
Corsair H100i
Maximus vi Hero
2 x 8 GB Vengeance Pro @ 2400mhz
MSI R9 290 Gaming
Samsung 830 120gb SSD
Seagate Barracuda 2TB
Windows 7
Essentially I got a BSoD whilst playing BF4 on the new Mantle Drivers and since then whenever I boot the starting windows screen comes up but then all i see is blackness, with my keyboard, mouse and other peripherals all turning off also
Have tried;
Fresh Install of Windows on both drives
Downtuning current RAM
Replacing RAM
Replacing GPU with my old GTX 460
Flashing BIOS
Clearing CMOS
Still under all instances windows fails to start first time, then second time i get a windows repair prompt which reverts back to the very first fresh install of windows (obviously then when trying to install drivers it resets and am back to square one)
Have used the asus quick format in bios on the ssd, more often than not it claims to be frozen under bios, and requires a hard reset to clear it
Short of sending back the Mobo and hoping for the best I am running out of ideas... Any suggestions?
