Well i just purchased a PNY nVidia Quadro4400 NVS 64Mb PCI card to run my two new screens along side my other monitor and i cant get the card to work in vista

Im guessing it is a driver issue. Anyone know how to fix it plz

Are you using the right drivers? (which version are you using?) did you click the solutions button and see? have you searched for any known problems with that card and OS?

You haven't really provided much information

Yeah have clicked the solutions button but it just says driver software cannot start. I have tried the latest quadro drivers and the latest GeForce drivers but it still won't work. I cant seem to find any spercific drivers for this card in vista though. I have also found that the XDDM Microsoft driver is used with older cards that cannot support areo in vista. I'll try disableing areo when i get home to see if that solves the problem but im not holding my breath :(

i had a quick look on the pny site and they list seperate driviers for vista compared to xp. i dont know how update *** drivers on pny are though as i use ati so never follow nvidia driver progression

Well it turns out it is a problem with vista  as the card works fine in my linux pc  . Looks like i am going to have to get a cheap 8600Gt 256 Mb jobbie, ah well. Thanks for the input guys
