About two weeks ago I managed to grab myself a whole brand new build. Everything has been running like a dream but I have noticed a few problems, specifically graphical related, at least I think so. I got a i5 3570K, HD 7850 card and a Gigabyte Z77board.

First of all Windows is set to turn off the display after 10 minutes of inactivity. Most of the time when I move the mouse, to turn the display back on, it works however, sometimes when I do this the display don't turn back on. I then turn off the display and turn it back on but it pops a message saying "no video input detected". This makes me restart the whole system and when I do this its fine.

My next problem is that at random times, most likely when starting a game, my screen just jumps up for a spilt second then resumes back to normal. I have tried Googleing this but noting comes up - probably the keywords I was using. This is pretty rare to happen, but it does occur often enough to cause concern, for me at least.

The card is overclocked (just at 1005MHz) and I have tried to reset to defaults and it caused no difference. I really don't know what is causing these small problems but I am a little worried that it would become something worse.

Thank you in advance :)

Edit: After a little bit of Googleing a few people have mentioned the drivers I am using, which is 12.4, do have a few problems which are similar to what I am having. This is most likely a driver issue?

i have a sapphire 7850 and i had the occasional screen jump using 12.3 drivers i specifically chose them as people said they are less buggy, however im on 12.4 now and everything seems fine havent noticed any jumps with 12.4. im clocked at 1050mhz core and 1400mem, the clock wont make any difference. nothing you can do tbh mate, just poor drivers

I did think it was the drivers that where causing the problem. I think I will wait for a update, or two, then see if the issue is fixed :)
