I'm about ready to kill someone at how insanely difficult it is to find a phone number to get someone to answer what must be a simple question at apple, and no one ever replies to the discussion forums.
I have 2 airport extremes, one connected downstairs to the router and one upstairs in my room which connects to the rest of the house. The one upstairs is configured to extend a network, downstairs is configured to allow the network to be extended.
The idea is that they are set up as a wireless N bridge...However I only seem to get wireless G speeds.
I've got it set to 5ghz only, and if you connect to downstairs on a macbook you get wireless N speeds.
I've tried moving it downstairs to see if its a signal issue and its exactly the same. Signal Strength is good and the rate is at a solid 300.
Has anyone else had these issues or can they advise me of who I can speak to for help?
