Problem with my fans

Guys, the fan on the rear of my case is flashing quite badly these days. Always used to be a solid bright green, now it flashes and sometimes goes very dark as if it was off.
Here's a short video, sorry the quality does not show the full extent of the problem but you get the idea.
What's a common problem that causes this?

It probably just a component failure, possibly a resister failing.

do you mean the fan failing? or just the lighting on the fan?
something to worry about, or should I just swap out that fan for another and forget it?

Just the LEDS, I did not see properly if the fan was changing speed but just change the fan and monitor for a day or two then forget about it

thanks, I think your right anyway, the fans don't change speed when it happens, its just a bit distracting when i keep spotting it.
