problem with my gpu not working with my ssd

OCZ Vertex 2E 120Gb

not sure why but the gpu doesn`t seem to work when i put the programs (win 7 and drivers on a ssd, but when i put it on the normal hd i have it works fine, not sure if win 7 updates are conflicting with the driver i got with the gpu.

seems to be a rather annoyance as i have updated to a ssd, but i have 2 hd in the case as well.

help as i`m very unhappy with the new ocz.... it doesn`t seems to work too well

Which sata setting in the BIOS do you have turned on? IDE? AHCI? by the GPU not working, what does it not do? low frames in games?

no it does registar at all... i.e. the windows experience shows 1....

i figured it out.. i had to install the drivers for the gpu before win 7 did it for me via update.

i had to put win 7 in again, then load the driver for the gpu then select windows update.

seems that a windows update called "ATI Technologies Inc - Disply - ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series" update seems to screw with the drivers if i don`t install the drivers off the disc.

consider this fixed

I would hide that windows update version of the ati driver, and just download and install the latest driver and profiles from the ati website
