Hey guys,

The metal casing on my macbook pro has a bent bit.. above the slot loading drive at the front, it looks like its popped away from the case somehow, it sort of bulges outwards..

I took it to the reseller where I bought it, and they seem to think its something I've done  Im sure it isnt. I take really good care of it and its annoying when they claim ive done this :(

Is it worth contacting apple direct? laptop is only 6 months old.. Suggestions? Ideas? Is it up to me to prove I didnt do this? (how) Or do they need to prove I did?

Cheers

Mines done that too.. You can probably see that i've tried to bend it back myself. I thought mine was like it because I've taken my MacBook Pro apart to change the HDD and accidentally bent it.

Yes, precisely like that..

No dismantling here at all.. I was wondering if its glued or something under pressure and its just popped out.. Wasnt sure.. Either way im damn annoyed.
