Problem with my new rig

I was just building my rig...

I have a gigabyte Ud5 mobo, a prolimatech megahalems and 6gb corsair DOMINATOR.

The Cpu cooler is blocking 2 slots not 1... I knew it blocked 1 slot but not 2. The second slot is not completely blocked though.

I managed to fit the ram in the second "blocked" slot, however because the dominator have large heat spreaders, it is a bit bent and it's touching the prolimatech cooler.

Is this ok? Or will something break or something?

Also forgot to say... The prolimatech is installed facing upwards... i mean the fan is on the bottom and pushing air upwards.

Should I change it to sideways, i.e. rotate the cpu cooler by 90 degrees and make the fan push the air towards the rear instead of up?
