Specs:
E6300
Gigabyte 965P DS3 rev 1 (F10 BIOS)
4GB (4x1GB) Geil ultra 6400 DDR2 RAM
I'm having problems with my overclock since I added 2Gb of RAM. It doesn't seem to be stable at all.
Prior the RAM upgrade, my overclock was at 2.80GHz, Vcore 1.33V. VDIMM 2.1V 4-4-4-12. FSB voltage was +0.2V and MCH +0.2V. When tested it was stable.
Adding 2 GB RAM made it unstable, I heard that you need to jack up the chipset voltages. I incrementally increased the voltage of the MCH and FSB by another .15V. Still unstable. The working VDIMM is between 1.9 and 2.1V according to the sticker on the sticks.
What can I do to make it stable?
