Problem with my push bike

Ermm is the chain oiled? Is it well used, ie maybe worn? Do the cassette and front sprocket teeth look worn at all? are your derailleurs set correctly?

There's loads of reasons tbh so take it to a bike shop if you're not sure, my bike shop couldn't get to the bottom of my chain slipping , in the end I found it to be the rear wheel hub that was actually slipping due to spline wear inside the wheel

As JBuk says there could be plenty of reasons why this happens but since you've given very little information it's difficult to pinpoint a cause. It might be worth simply going to your local bike shop and asking for their advice, they'll probably pinpoint the problem much quicker than you and be able to fix it.

Do the teeth on any of the cogs look a bit like shark fins (as opposed to evenly shaped on both sides)? If so, your drivetrain is worn and needs replacing.

If your gears are skipping (jumping up or down), the dérailleur needs adjusting.

Looks like it needed lubricating, however while WD40 can clean and dispel water it's not a lubricant, you need to use a proper lubricant oil on the chain.
