Problem with new build- no display

I have built a new system using this hardware:

I have checked all connections, tried it with my old ATI Gfx card, my 600w psu, The fan on the Gfx card spins, but there is no display on either VGA or DVI :mad:

. I’m thinking that theres a problem with the motherboard, any suggestions on what else it could be? :confused:

none, although with no GFX card in it doesn't beep either, there is defenatly a speaker :S

Have you tried reseating all the components? Make sure you have connected both the power leads to the Mobo.

Indeed you wouldnt believe how many people miss the CPU power one...i certainly did

i must have re-built it about 5 times now, yes i have done the power connections, nothing, everything seems to "work" but no display :S

I had this problem once and my RAM wasn't seated properly... not sure if it is that since you said you've checked everything, but it might be worth double checking?

i'll re-check everything again now, edit this post with results-

Re-checked everything, running it with just mobo, hdd, gfx card and cpu, nothing still

Does it bleep with no memory in? Have you tried swapping out the memory sticks? (using only one at a time?) Try it with only the bare minimum connected, one ram stick GPU, CPU, 1 HD

ok. continuious beeping when ram is out, with one stick : no display, but as usual, seems to "work"

Try clearing CMOS.

will try that, i may call up ocers and see what they think

clr_cmos diddn't work :S
