Problem with new build

Seems was not getting any help in my thread so thought be best to start a new one

"Right I have had the machine up and running for a week now. Its seems I have a problem where the usb ports will not work unless I restart and the same happens with the sound. I could fire the pc up and get no sound. to resolve I either have to unplug usb/sound cable or restart the system.

Can any one help?"

Device Manager

Uninstall sound and USB devices

Restart windows

Windows will install again

Go to windows update and update all drivers and/or go to manufacturers website and download the latest drivers.

Ok the USB seems to be stable.

Tried the audio reinstall , I have three HD audio show but one is showing as "can't start code 10" this was before and after the reinstall.

What I have noticed is the audio stops working when ever I turn the monitor off. I am setup with audio cable from speakers to monitor so when I go away I turn the monitor off, it is like the audio does not wake up.

Erm, why not just put the cable into the port in the motherboard instead of having it going through the monitor?
