hi had a new graphics card a couple days now and all has been fine until today when what I think are artifacts started appearing in my game

any idea what could be causing this? is it a faulty graphics card or something else? also have a new monitor so I don't know if it could be this either. I already reseated the card dusted out my case a bit and took the front and top mesh panels off the case which lowered max temps by about 10 degrees

rest of system is
i5 3570k @4.00Ghz
16GB 1600Mhz DDR3 RAM
750w PSU

First time I've seen it since earlier when patches of the ground in game were the same kind of pattern , that was when I reseated and took off the panels thinking it could be temps. I did install the latest driver I think today or yesterday.

edit : ill try rolling back driver and see if its still happening
edit2 Seems OK so far

yeah game is official :)
like I said there was also similar problems with the foliage in game as well before
as of now I still have no problems but initially the problems were spaced out anyway so who knows so far so good though
I did a a repair and scan for the game files in the launcher and there was no problem with files as far as that was concerned
I've not been playing any other games so couldn't really say, but previously with my 970 i had none of this happening.

OK so after playing again a bit I managed to get a screenshot of whats happening in games in the foliage so obviously drivers didn't fix the issue , any thoughts? ill try a reinstall maybe incase like you say corrupted files.

edit: problem is this only seems to happen after extended periods playing the game, then after restarting with whatever "fix" I have its fine for a while

I tried another game but only briefly and there were no problems , however there were no problems all day with modern warfare either until now but this was after running the game for 6+ hours

I should mention that I've also seen some weirdness on some Windows outside of game but the dissappear very quickly so wasn't sure they were to be worried about and are hard to screenshot as any input usually makes them dissapear

so again it was fine today since restarting the program then this happened

so I assume since its starting out OK then after 4 hours or so the artifacts begin to appear its not the game ?

ill run the stress test tonight will that pinpoint if the card is a problem ?

Is it possible that having ray tracing turned on would cause issues like this , from the last picture I witnessed this on a few areas during that round including flaming cars and windscreens ? Just a thought as I saw some other threads about similar issues

I ran timespy extreme stress test with no problems 98% or something going to run port royal stress test now and see if I get problems with ray tracing stuff.

I am leaning toward the game being the problem though as there are many things wrong with this release such as having to set process priority to normal to stop crazy input lag, backing out of a game causing fov to jump from max to minimum but still showing in options as max.

Edit . port royal 99.8% so I guess games to blame?, which is relieving I guess

well after some time I was still getting the graphical glitches in COD and as it was the only game i was playing I put it down to the game being ******, now trying out a new game with friends I came across this

and wondering if anyone had any insight as to what the problem could be , obviously the card is under no load here as its just a launcher

could it be my older PSU ? I have no other to test if its the problem or not

PSU is a SuperFlower Leadex GOLD 750W Fully Modular "80 Plus Gold" bought in 2014
