Problem with new machine.

Hey guys

, just built my new pc, and as far as i know (Following the guide here on the forum) i have built it correctly, Im using an i5-2500k, asus p8p67, ocz vertex 100gb seagate 1tb and a gtx 570. I bought the overclocked bundle (Radon allosaur) and have tried powering up the machine, but it comes on (all fans spinning, green light present) but there is no display on the screen. If someone could help a newbie out it would be appriciated.

Are all power connections connected, including the 8 pin for CPU power.

Try 1 stick on ram only in the first slot A1 - nearest the CPU Socket.
Check GPU has both PCi-e power connectors and that the GPU is sat properly.

Is there a red light by the ram? If so press and hold the little button by the ram until it goes out.

Finally check the cmos jumper and maybe reset the cmos.

The only red light on at the moment is CPU LED and its just constant, this is a stupid question, but i may be using the wrong 8 pin cable for the CPU power >.< How many pins does it have on the power side?.
