I had a refund for one of these from OCUK today. Bought the card on Xmas eve and RMA'd it after 40 mins use because it started making a fizzing noise and kept changing my desktop to basic desktop at random. The guy on the phone said he wouldnt send me a replacement as they had so many back with problems already. Thing is they are still for sale on reduced price.
I hope you have an easier time with the RMA than I did. It took me several webnotes, about an hour on the phone and 2 complaints forms before they decided it was "borderline faulty".
This reminds of a Gigabyte 8800GT that I bought a few years back from a competitor, they were priced significantly cheaper then the other 8800GTs.
It turns out there was a design fault with them and I sent mine back a few months later when I had finally established it was the graphics card and got the rev 2 replacement.
That card was not as bad as this MSI one I am currently in possession of the fault on this card is much worse.
It seems if there is a significant problem with a batch of cards they get sold off cheaply to get rid of stock.
