Problem with new router

I bought a second hand router a while back that was on sky but had been flashed so worked on any broadband, Its the netgear dg834gt. It says the modem is connected at what ever speed im supposed to be paying for but when i click test connection or try use the internet I cant get on. What do i need to do to get on the internet? all the settings I need from 02 are already entered.
 
I havent been able to get onto the internet at all, I think i have all the settings on right, I even rang up 02 but they only read whats on their screen.

Im wired to the router.

I have tried that firmware, even older versions. I tried flashing the flash like people say to free the router up.

Ive never done this before so not sure what signs to look out for, I just cant access internet on it. Wish the 02 router was any good.
 
Ive got a feeling mine doesnt come up with that, i know it says connected. all the 02 settings should be set but might need to email them so i dont get talking to a muppet.
 
the link doesnt work? is that the one with router settings? If it is ive tried both differnt ones.
