Problem with new setup

In the process of building my new pc with Asus P8z68, i5-2500k, after a few problems I have got it working but when switching it on it switches on and off a couple of times and sometimes it recognises my usb keyboard and other times it say keyboard not detected, otherwise when I get in the bios everything is ok
I havnt installed windows yet by the way
any ideas

PS I have tried different usb sockets in the back and when it doesnt recognise the keyboard, the keyboard still lights up

took it in the ocz they are looking at it now

It was the faulty SteelSeries Merc Stealth all along bought another chep keyboard and its all working fine now
