Hello

I recently upgraded my PC on a small budget getting a Motherboard, CPU, HDD and case

ASUS ROG Strix B650E-F Gaming WiFi motherboard

AMD Ryzen 7800x3D CPU

WD_BLACK SN850X M.2 2280 NVMe SSD 2TB

CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 32GB 6400mhz expo RAM

Hyte Y40 Mid Tower Case Black

I already had a Nvidia 4070 Ti Super and a new PSU cannot remember which but max 5 months old

PC runs nice and quick but I have a fresh install of windows 11, but the audio when streaming Twitch or youtube the audio cuts out after a few seconds. In the windows mixer the Volume bar still moves but I get no audio?
ingames there is huge stuttering making playing impossibe and sound again cuts out or does not even start.

GPU and PSU where fine in old PC, upgraded as PC was running into no being of spec to play some newer games

All drivers and Motherboard firmware updated
Windows fully updated
bios setting I only change the memory to expo profile

Thought it was Motherboard so also changed motherboard to the one above from a previous new mobo

Problem with audio via HDMI to A/V amp or direct to TV same issue, no other speakers

Any help would be great as I'm really struggling to find what the issue is

Thanks

Additionally, using just the onboard GPU, seems fine with streaming audio, So maybe a Nvidia gpu issue?

Hello

Seems the issue was the Hyte YT40 case's riser card does not support pcie 5 or 4, had to set pcie slot to 3. Seems to be running fine, not happy about the riser card saying it supports pcie 4.

Sorry to trouble anyone

Thank you for letting us know!

I knew that risers could cause problems with the card, but I had no idea risers could cause audio cut outs.
