Problem with OCUK rig re: not starting

Hi,

I'm really not sure if this is the correct forum to post this, so apologies if wrong.

I purchased a rig from OCUK roughly 10 months ago. Its been fantastic and i have had zero problems, very happy over all.

Recently though I have been getting this problem:

- Turn on power at wall, press power button.
- Fans start and lights come.
- The rig doesn't start up though (no light on mouse etv).

If I hold down the power to turn it off then repeat the process after 2/3 tries if fires up normally.

To work around this I have been keeping the rig in 'sleep' mode but obviously this can't go on forever.

Any help/tips much appreciated! :)
 
a) Don't turn it off at the wall unless you have to.
b) If it was a pre-built system get on the phone to OcUK as I expect it's still under warranty.
 
Ive had this fault on another system of mine after i leave it turned off on the wall socket for a day or so, i found the problem to be the PSU.

Yes its pre built and over clocked. Its:

Intel core 2 Quad Q6600 4.4 ghz @x6950 +3.3 ghz quad core silent ddr2.
edit - Its an Antec if that makes any difference.


Also why shouldn't I turn it off at the mains, do you mean because of my current situation or in general? (For the record I'm not turning it off at the mains before shutting down properly I'm just turning it off at night along with every thing else).
