Hi,
I thought I would post here before I properly get in touch with overclockers to see if anyone has had this problem or has any suggestions.
My setup is as follows:
CPU: Intel QX6700
Mobo: Asus P5N-e SLI
Video: Nvidia 8800gtx
Sound: Creative X-Fi
Ram: OCZ 2x1Gb PC2-6400
Basically the problem is this: until two days ago I had a working system which had been running well for ~6 months. However upon booting the other day the system froze at the motherboard splash screen. I could hit DEL and enter setup but it didn't appear to render correctly and I couldn't move the cursor or update anything.
The only recent change in the system is that I upgraded the BIOS to 0602 but that was about 2 weeks ago now. I've tried to reset the CMOS by removing the battery and setting the appropriate jumper but that didn't seem to have any effect at all
I'm thinking if I don't get any suggestions here then I'll probably have to RMA it (I think via overclockers since Asus don't appear on the manufacturers list on their support page).
Any suggestions welcome,
Thanks
