Hello everyone (and merry xmas!),

I have been using my PC for about a year now and to be honest its fine but I really believe it should be faster than it is. I have a 3 screen setup (5760,1080) and games like WoW run really slow (around 30fps).

the setup is as follows:-

- Core i7 [email protected]
- 16GB DDR RAM
- OS on 2 SSD's RAID 0
- WoW on separate SSD (samsung Evo 850?)
- 2 x 780GTX SLI
- Windows 10

Thoughts?

Only thing there holding you back is the 780's. Everything else looks fine. Could try 4.5ghz on the CPU but that wont dramatically increase fps a lot.

Really? I thought a single 780 could handle that resolution let alone 2 in SLI.

So do I get a 3rd or try to sell the 2 and get a single 980?

A single 980 is a big downgrade seeing as the GTX980 is not much of a upgrade from a single GTX780. The only upgrade worth doing from a single GTX780 is a GTX980ti. As you have a pair of GTX780's I am not sure if a single GTX980ti would be much, if any, upgrade at all.

Pretty much a sidegrade as i recently moved from sli 780 to a single 980ti. Overclocking the 980ti helps it a bit, in my case due to very high temps this wasnt really an option on the 780's. Fine for quick bench runs but not ideal for gaming. The extra vram on the 980ti helps a bit too.
