I would like to ask for help regarding purasche I want to make for my next graphic card. I am under budget and I am looking for rather cheaper solution, I am not interested in buying on of those high end GC for 400pounds.
preferably I want to spend around 50 to 70 pounds on it. I did some research on OC and I found a Gainward GeForce 9400 GT that comes with 1GB of Ram mem. I am not an expert in this category but I also know that its not only about the mem and what really trouble me about this card is the no of stream processors inside. That one has only 16 of them, datz not much, while the newest one has even up to 216 as far as I know. So my question is. whether this card is worth of getting. And just to have some sort of an image of its perfomence would that card handle Crysis? Despite all the other pc requirements this game has
Right now I am owning old Gainward BLISS 7300 GT with 256 of Ram , so would upgrade be a good choice, or perhaps by buying it I wouldnt really increase the performence.
In that case what other card would you reccomend me to get(bare in mind the price plz) ?

that the link for the card I founded on OC:

thanks for help :)

What is the rest of your PC spec?

because 70 quid could get you a decent second hand card which would be your best option. but if the rest of your pc is below par, the improvement might not be very impressive.

For new cards:

Nvidia 9600GT

ATI 4670

£70 buys you a lot more performance than a £50 card in such a competitive sector.

1GB of Ram is currently pointless on any card below approx £120 as the card in not fast enough to take advantage of the memory. Your budget is better spent on a 512MB card.

Thanks for reply.
I will go for the Geforce 9600 as I have more trust into Nvidia :)
