Problem with Plex and subtitles

I try to play my hd movies with Plex, because VLC can't play them, but Plex didn't show any subtitles.
If i try vlc subtitles show up, but with Plex not...
I read that is something to do with encoding of subs...

Can anyone help me????

Make sure the 'show subtitles' item is set to 'on' in the options. (Fn+F1)

What format are the subtitles (mediainfo should be able to tell you).

I've have some files which don't display in Plex but the majority do (with less issues than VLC) so it is probably a format issue.

Pause the movie and go to the "eye" symbol. Now turn on the subtitles if you have them.

Tip: If you have the Aeon skin installed via the installer script I link to in my thread, you automagically get opensub.org subtitle search and support
