Hi all ..

I have a Antec Overture II desktop case which seems to have developed a strange power button problem an was wondering if anyone esle has had this ??

Bascially what happens is if i try an turn the Desktop on from the very big an flashy blue button nothing happens but if i tilt the tower foward to a 45deg angle or more the power button works ??

At first i thought it was my MB or MB connectors or my power lead or everything esle plugged into my tower, wasn`t until i had picked up the tower an tilted it forward to c round the back an caught the power button by accident that it powered up ...

So what iam getting at if its the switch
A) should i try an c if OCUK will take it back (think it`s less than a year old )
B) can i replace the switch as a spare part from Antec

looking for options here as i don`t wanna lose the case because of a dodgy switch (nice an very expensive case)

any ideas guys ???

with thx in advance Mav ....

Try shorting the switch pin headers on the motherboard with a flat blade screwdriver.

If it boots up, then you know its a problem with your switch :)

Edit: Oops, should really read the question properly :o. I'd have thought you could ask Antec for a replacement switch. It's probably your best route before returning the case.
